About 20 years ago, 3 men who did not know each other, simultaneously and providentially began sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with me. Although I pushed back on each of them, I kept returning for more “information”. After about a month of trying to resist God’s effectual call on my life, I was suddenly overcome with the realization that everything about Jesus was true! Nothing has been the same since.
I especially enjoy the relatively small size of our Church, as it allows fellowship with everyone. I enjoy serving in ways that free up our elders to focus on the spiritual needs of the flock. Some of those include; teaching, devotionals, church treasurer, nursing home ministry leader, small group leader and educating in the area of creation science and related apologetics.
I was professionally involved in the fields of science and engineering for 42 years, retiring in 2012. My last working position was Director of Advanced Technology and Intellectual Property for MSA in Pittsburgh PA. Prior to that, I graduated in analytical chemistry from Michigan State University in 1970 with graduate studies in electrical engineering.
My wife Eileen and I have 5 grown children and 10 grand children living in Minnesota, California and Pennsylvania. Eileen and I enjoy bible study, traveling, cooking together and ballroom dancing. She is an expert in machine embroidery and I like building model boats and target shooting. We are lifetime charter members of the Creation Museum (Cincinnati area) and the National Rifle Association.
