Jason grew up going to catholic church, but developed into more of a science-only based mentality in his collegiate years. It wasn’t until after college, in 2009, when the Lord confronted both the catholic and the science-only worldviews. At the request of his (then) future mother in law, Jason attended a study called “The Truth Project,” where real Truth broke through and Faith began to grow. Since being saved at 23 Jason has, by God’s grace, been growing in knowledge and love for the Lord, His word, and His church.
In 2013, Jason and his wife Kjerstin began to settle into life in Lakeville, looking for a close church that was more in line with the teaching and theology of their favorite radio program Grace to You. Jason and Kjerstin became members at Grace Community Bible Church shortly after attending an Easter service with Kjerstin’s mother (who is also a member). Since then, they have been serving and living out their lives with other members of the church, craving growth and fellowship in the body. In 2020, Jason took on duties of Audio/Visual coordinator and, in 2021, started his training to become a deacon.
Jason now resides in Farmington, MN with his wife Kjerstin and their six children. Jason works full time as a Geotechnical engineer and Kjerstin is a full time homeschooler who also works two days a week as a Physician Assistant. They enjoy playing outside with the kids, going on walks, and coffee!
